General Questions

How can I get a quote?

Am I charged the full quoted amount even if it doesn't take that long to clean my house?

No, you’re only charged based on the amount of time your cleaner was actually at your home working. If they finish early, you aren’t charged the full amount quoted.

Does someone have to visit my house before I can book a cleaning?

Absolutely not! We can provide you an estimated quotation over the phone however it sometimes it is good to have a look at the cleaning required by our team before making the booking.

Are cleaning supplies included?

Cleaning supplies the equipment is included in the cleaning price. We use eco-friendly cleaning products at every clean.

What if I'm not happy with my cleaning?

Please get in touch with us within 24 hours off your clean and we’ll make arrangements to rectify the situation. We have a satisfaction guarantee that we stand by.

Scheduling Questions

Can I get a same day booking?

We don’t guarantee same-day bookings. But, depending on the day/time, we can sometimes meet this requirement.

Do I have to be home for my clean?

It’s completely up to you. If you’re not going to be home, we will arrange to access your home for your clean. You will also be notified by text when we leave your home.

Does my cleaner arrive at exact time I book?

Yes. However, we allow a half an hour due to traffic or unforseen circumstances on the day. In scenarios where your cleaner will be late, you will be contacted via text message to let you know the expected time of arrival.

When am I charged for my service?

You will be charged once cleaning has been completed. Payment can be made by Eftpos or via Internet banking. If you require an invoice this can be emailed to you on the same day of your clean.

Are there any commitments or contracts?

No, you can cancel your cleaning service anytime. You don’t have to commit to any contracts or pre-determined number of appointments.

What is included in a residential house clean?

A list of services/cleaning will be given to each client at time of booking so it is very clear what will be cleaned as part of your service.

Do you provide cleaning products?

Yes all cleaning products and equipment is provided by HomeMaid Services.

What services do you offer?

We offer a range of services from weekly/fortnightly cleaning to one-time cleaning or move in/out cleaning.

How many cleaners do you send?

Our staff usually work as a team of two cleaners for each cleaning service. There are times when one cleaner maybe sent to a clean. If you’re on a recurring schedule, we’ll do our best to match you with the same person going forward.
